Bishop Joseph G. Fisher
1. We believe that all scripture is given by inspiration from God, by which we understand the whole Bible to be inspired. In the sense that the holy men of God were moved by the Holy Spirit to write the very words of scripture.
2. We believe that the Godhead exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three manifestations are one God; Having the same nature and attributes and are worthy of the same homage, confidence, and obedience.
3. We believe that salvation has been provided for all men through the sacrifice of Christ upon the cross. It is the only perfect redemption and atonement for all the sins of the world, both original and actual. Jesus’ atoning work has been proven by His resurrection from the dead.
4. We believe that baptism in the Holy Spirit is an experience in which the believer yields control of himself/herself to the Holy Spirit. Through this he/she comes to know Christ in a more intimate way, and receives power to witness and grow spiritually.
5. We believe that the gifts of the Spirit are supernatural abilities given by God through the exercising of which believers are enabled to minister directly and effectively in particular situations.
6. We believe that the LORD's supper is a symbol, memorial and proclamation of the suffering and death of our LORD Jesus Christ.We believe that water baptism signifies the believer's identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection and is practiced by immersion.
7. We believe that at death, the souls of the believers pass immediately into the presence of Christ, and thus remain in constant bliss until the resurrection of the glorified body.
8. We believe that the return of Christ to earth in power and great glory will conclude the great tribulation with the victory at Armageddon, the defeat of the Antichrist and the binding of Satan.
9. We believe that the righteous will share the glory of God in the new heaven and the new earth for eternity.

Why do we stand when we sing?

Why do we have speaking with tongues, and interpretation of those tongues?

Foods to include in your diet during the Daniel Fast
All fruits. These can be fresh, frozen, dried, juiced or canned. Fruits include but are not limited to apples, apricots, bananas, blackberries, blueberries, boysenberries, cantaloupe, cherries, cranberries, figs, grapefruit, grapes, guava, honeydew melon, kiwi, lemons, limes, mangoes, nectarines, oranges, papayas, peaches, pears, pineapples, plums, prunes, raisins, raspberries, strawberries, tangelos, tangerines, watermelon
All vegetables. These can be fresh, frozen, dried, juiced or canned. Vegetables include but are not limited to artichokes, asparagus, beets, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, chili peppers, collard greens, corn, cucumbers, eggplant, garlic, ginger root, kale, leeks, lettuce, mushrooms, mustard greens, okra, onions, parsley, potatoes, radishes, rutabagas, scallions, spinach, sprouts, squashes, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, turnips, watercress, yams, zucchini, veggie burgers are an option if you are not allergic to soy.
All whole grains, including but not limited to whole wheat, brown rice, millet, quinoa, oats, barley, grits, whole wheat pasta, whole wheat tortillas, rice cakes and popcorn.
All nuts and seeds, including but not limited to sunflower seeds, cashews, peanuts, sesame. Also nut butters including peanut butter.
All legumes. These can be canned or dried. Legumes include but are not limited to dried beans, pinto beans, split peas, lentils, black eyed peas, kidney beans, black beans, cannellini beans, white beans.
All quality oils including but not limited to olive, canola, grape seed, peanut, and sesame.
Beverages: spring water, distilled water or other pure waters.
Other: tofu, soy products, vinegar, seasonings, salt, herbs and spices.
Foods to avoid on the Daniel Fast
All meat and animal products including but not limited to beef, lamb, pork, poultry, and fish.
All dairy products including but not limited to milk, cheese, cream, butter, and eggs.
All sweetenersincluding but not limited to sugar, raw sugar, honey, syrups, molasses, and cane juice.
All leavened bread including Ezekiel Bread (it contains yeast and honey) and baked goods.
All refined and processed food products including but not limited to artificial flavorings, food additives, chemicals, white rice, white flour, and foods that contain artificial preservatives.
All deep fried foods including but not limited to potato chips, French fries, corn chips.
All solid fats including shortening, margarine, lard and foods high in fat.
Beverages including but not limited to coffee, tea, herbal teas, carbonated beverages, energy drinks, and alcohol.
Bishop Joseph G. Fisher is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Word of Truth Christian Centre (WTCC) located in Pickering, Canada just outside of Toronto. His passion for the gospel and high calling of the Lord, led him to leave his secular job as an accountant to attend Seminary. Soon after, he was ordained as a Pastor and he began his quest to teach people the whole truth of God’s word.
In 1995, Bishop Fisher entered full-time ministry. In the year 2000 he founded WTCC, a dynamic congregation within the community. In 2004, Bishop Fisher expanded his portfolio when he launched the Word of Truth Family Life Centre, which facilitates a Federal Government funded Skills Link Program, that assists at-risk youth in the surrounding areas, by rehabilitating them into the workforce.
In 2005, he was consecrated and elevated to the high office of Bishop. He is currently a part of the Mount Calvary Holy Churches of America, under the leadership of Archbishop Alfred A. Owens, Jr. He is also a member of the Potter's House International Pastoral Alliance, under the leadership of Bishop T.D. Jakes.
Bishop Fisher is married to Co-Pastor Shawna D. Fisher, and is the proud father of four children and grandfather of four. Together their mandate is to use godly principles to re-build and strengthen the family unit in the local community, as well as leading and contributing to missionary initiatives around the world.

Co-Pastor Shawna D. Fisher presently resides just outside of Toronto, Canada, where she serves alongside her husband as co-pastor of Word of Truth Christian Centre (WTCC), located in Pickering, Ontario.
She committed her life to the Lord Jesus as a young adult and soon after attended Bible College. She has been serving WTCC in the capacity of Church Administrator since its inception.
Co-pastor Fisher is the overseer of the women’'s ministry at WTCC, “Women of Zion” and is the founder and leader of L.I.F.E. (Ladies Interceding For Everyone), a local prayer group. She also preaches at her home church.
Co-Pastor Shawna D. Fisher is the proud wife of Bishop Joseph G. Fisher and is the devoted mother of two children, Josiah Kwasi and Isabella Abigail Abena.

Our very own First Lady, Co-Pastor Shawna Fisher, serves as the Head of Women’s Ministry. The Women of Zion offers special times of ministry for the ladies of Word of Truth Christian Centre. These special times include impartation meetings, prayer sessions and annual conferences throughout the year.
The coordinators for women's ministry is our Judith Cyrus and Evette Reid.
R.E.A.C.H. - REVIVE, EMPOWER AND CLIMB HIGHER 13yrs and up R.E.A.C.H. is intent on sharing God’s message of love, unifying with other Christians, and challenging one another toward an ever-growing faith so that we might honour God with a Christ-centered life. The youth Ministry is lead by our Youth Leadership Committee.
The youth committee is serving in excellence of Spirit, and striving to meet the ever growing needs of the church.
We invite teens between the ages of 13 - 17 and young adults between the ages of 18 - 40 to attend the next youth Meeting. We believe that you will have a life changing experience.
Minister Floyd and Karema Burnett are responsible for teens to age 18. A leadership team coordinated by minister Marlene Miller is responsible for giving leadership to young adults.
GIDEON'S ARMY, provides an opportunity for men to build relationships and encourage each other. Gideon's Army is keen on identifying and meeting the needs of the men in the community. They also seek to get acquainted with and create friendships with the male friends and family of the church members.
CHILDREN'S CHRISTIAN EDUCATION, takes great care in providing for the needs of Today’s children.
Our mission is to help families build a solid foundation in children that will help them develop spiritually, physically and emotionally. This will empower them to reach others for Jesus Christ!
We have a Nursery for infants, Children’s Church for children (Junior kindergarten through 8th Grade). During our services, your child will be ministered to in a way that they can enjoy, understand and apply the Word of God to their lives!
The Children's Christian Education Ministry is led by Minister Geraldine Wade-Brown who is serving in excellence of Spirit, and striving to meet the ever growing needs of the church.
With a determination to Make the Most of Our Single Season, this ministry encourages single men and women, 18 years and older, to grow spiritually and discover and pursue their unique purposes in life; all while having a chance to fellowship with each other.
MARRIED COUPLES' MINISTRY exists to foster spiritual growth, encourage healthy marital relationships, offer mentorship to newlyweds, and support marriages going through challenges. While recognizing that marriage is a gift from God and that the joining of two lives through a marriage covenant creates the firmest foundation for building a family; this journey can also be filled with challenges and disappointments.
MCM realizes the importance of proactively strengthening the marriage unit, instead of solely reacting as challenges arise. MCM offers marriage enrichment tips, encourages wholesome marital relationships and provides support, counsel and assistance for relationships that are facing challenges.
The Married Couples' Ministry is lead by Elder Carl Tucker and Sis. Donna Tucker who are serving in excellence of Spirit, and striving to meet the ever growing needs of the church.

With a focus on the local community, the Family Life Community Centre seeks to empower youth and strengthen families as part of a holistic mission.
F.L.C.C. Skills Link Employment Program is an Employment Training Program geared to youth 18-30 years old who are unemployed, out-of-school and from an ethno-racial minority back ground.
This program is designed to assist participants in improving their knowledge and understanding of themselves, their knowledge of the Canadian Labour Market, as well as enhancing their knowledge and understanding about the jobs and/or careers they wish to pursue.
The major goal of this six-months training program is to assist youth in overcoming barriers to employment.

- Literacy program for new Canadians
- Computer training for adult’s
